6 INCH SCISSORS
Each hairdresser uses different length scissors. Some like them 5 inch long, others 6 inch long, few use 7 inch long scissors for hair cutting

7 INCH SCISSORS
These scissors are great for "scissors over the comb" technique. It's like using clippers without electricity. I use them for a detailed finishing work.

TEXTURIZING SCISSORS
are used for texturizing, special effects (wispying) etc. of the hair. Texturizing is done in about middle of a hair shaft and is done mainly for "lift" - to create the illusion of full hair with the help of a blow-drying. Special effects are done on the ends of the hair.

THINNING SCISSORS
are especially used for thinning of a very thick hair. Thinning hair is done about 1 and 1/2 to 2 inches from the scalp. Special effects can be done with these scissors as well, but they come out much softer and not so much obvious then with the texturizing scissors

TEXTURIZING RAZOR
is used instead of scissors or in the combination with scissors for hair shaping and special effects (creating wisps). Razor is best used on very straight hair of medium to coarse texture as it adds softness to the style. It should be placed on hair flat and used with steady short strokes toward the hair ends. A razor cut can give a fine hair thicker look.

CLIPS
are very important - the ones above are so far my favorite kind. I used many different kinds, but these hold hair in a place very well and work excellent on an almost every type of hair. You can purchase them in Wallmart, some Salons or Beauty Supply Stores. For very long, coarse and heavy hair type I use big plastic clips

HAIRCUTTING COMB
This comb has marked inches on the handle and is an excellent tool to use. I can always show my clients how much I will cut. It makes the situation clear. No confusions. Happy clients.

HIGHLIGHTING COMB
I love to use this comb for Highlights and styling the hair (also back combing).

WIDE TOOTH COMB (above)
is great for combing out tangles after your shampoo. Never comb out hair dry, you could destroy your hair shaft by ripping your hair.

VELCRO ROLLERS
are an exellent tool to give your fine hair more body. Blow dry your hair, insert several huge velcro rollers into your hair, let it set, hairspray your hair, take them out, brush your hair, style and go

CLIPPERS
These are used for "cleaning up" a hairline.

CLIPPER ATTACHMENTS
4-5 attachments come with the clippers. These are sizes from 1/2" to 1/16".
